If you’re looking for the secret to success, part of it is pretty simple…

Do everything you know you need to do, and then some.

Everybody wants to achieve their version of success. The problem is most people hope they can reach their success by doing as little as they can get away with. Just the opposite is true!

The secret to success is to do everything you think you could do or should do to get there – and then some! Making a sale is like taking a test. If you know 70% is a passing grade and you do just enough to think you’ll pass, with one mistake or wrong answer, you fail!

To guarantee a passing grade on success, go for 150% every time instead!

  • Help – I’m falling.

Everybody falls down now and then in their lives and their careers. The secret is to start getting back up even while you’re still falling further down.

When the recession hit, we worked with dealers who were falling like a rock, but decided to have us work with and train their managers and salespeople. They didn’t fall as far as the rest, they recovered quickly and set records while dealerships around them closed their doors.

In any emergency, hesitation makes things worse. If you’re falling in sales, learn more and do more immediately, get a quick grip and start climbing again.
