If you depend on floor traffic, what happens if the weather or business goes south this month?

Exactly. If you rely on floor traffic, you better take some classes now on how to stretch a paycheck, because you’ll need to, if you aren’t going to create your own traffic.

To make money in sales, you have to develop the skills we can only touch on in here. But if you’ll buy into this ‘thought’, you’ll sell more:

Read those stats again. If they send a request for more info, or call about a specific vehicle, or are on your lot, 8 out of 10 end up buying a car, and the only question is who they’ll get it from; you or the salesperson down the street.

Yeah, I just heard several say, “Not the ones I talk to.”

Math: If you talk to 4 customers each day, that’s 4 chances to make a sale x 22 work days. That’s 88 chances to sell a car every month.

Most who sell 10 or less, only log a couple, so they don’t look so bad.

Instead of fudging the numbers, and telling the family, “I’m doing my best, blah, blah, blah,” for more fun and a much higher income, why not do what these 2 guys suggest, and just change your mind…?
