Develop More Skills & Improve Your Process
When I was stuck at selling about 8 a month, I was real cocky about defending myself when it came to why I didn’t sell more. I was convinced that with my years of experience, I was good at selling, and if I had a bad month, it wasn’t my fault.
When I started learning more, I heard that, “If you’re only making $30K, it’s because you only have $30K skills. If you want to make $100K instead, develop $100K skills.”
I did, and my life changed overnight, because if you allow ‘cocky’ to override facts (like I did) – you may watch a JVTN® course and try something you didn’t practice, and guess what – it doesn’t work, then you think, “Joe’s training didn’t help.”
Growth Requires Some Humility.
Humility: A modest view of one’s importance.
You can’t change, improve or grow if you’ve convinced yourself the YOU that you are today, is the very best YOU possible.
I was proud of being in sales and being able to create an income just by talking to people – and you should be, too. But success didn’t arrive until I could admit that I could learn more, and it won’t happen for you either until you believe, “I can do better!”
Open your mind, and you’ll get a bigger paycheck.
