We’re at the end of one year and the beginning of a new one, so you need to do two things right now:
1. You should be putting the pedal to the metal to make 2012 a record year.
If you miss your goal in 2012, it won’t be because no one shows up this month. It’ll be because you had too many bad days during the year. If you end up with a bad year, it’ll be because you didn’t train to learn how and didn’t make your 10 prospecting calls daily, didn’t demo everyone, didn’t write up everyone you could, didn’t learn to sell or close, and didn’t follow up with everyone who didn’t buy.
We don’t have bad years, the real truth is we just allow ourselves to accumulate too many bad days throughout the year.
2. To prevent that in 2013, it’s also time to put clear goals and plans in place, time to get your prospecting and follow up system going, and it’s time to track everything you do with the VSA® in JVTN® or our planners. Once you do that and have your goals, you need a daily training plan to develop your weakest skills so you can hit your monthly goals.
Sit down and evaluate your skills (honestly) to find your weakest areas that cost you sales and income. Then train on JVTN® daily to improve, get my books online (some are free) and track everything you do. You want everything in place now, so you can hit the ground running on January 1st, 2013.
