“I graduated college with a criminal justice degree, and then I started selling cars at Fred Beans Ford, just over a year ago.
We use Joe Verde for our training. Our store does group training 3 days a week with Joe’s online training (JVTN®), and it helps me a ton. And I’ve attended 2 in-house sales workshops with Joe, that the company brings in to us.
My first month I sold 15 units, and I’m averaging 30 cars a month now. I’m #1 for units sold at my store, #2 for gross in all the stores, and #2 for units out of all 27 Fred Beans dealerships.
I follow up with every customer – whether it’s someone in service, on the lot or over the phone. I advertise on Facebook, get referrals from service customers, contact orphan owners, and I take fresh ups.
One thing that stood out with the Joe Verde training that has really helped me, is using CRIC to close when I get an objection; Clarify, Rephrase, Isolate and Close. It is so effective.
I’m also working on not saying ‘to be honest’ so often with a customer.
