It’s time to turn ‘Pro’!
What you know has gotten you to where you are now. To improve, you need to learn even more.
At 30 years old, most of us reach our peak, and 90% just keep doing what they’re doing and keep getting what they’re getting now, or less.
Trying to get to $100,000+ a year will take you years and years (or never) without the right information and practicing new skills.
Or it can take just weeks or months. When I stopped selling cars and opened my accessory business, I used all of my down time to learn more.
I just read that Bezos, one of the richest men in the world, dedicates one hour a day before work to read, listen, and make plans to improve himself and his success.
Salespeople want more, too. We surveyed 3,500 salespeople, and over 50% said they chose selling cars because of the big bucks opportunity.
No surprise – most did nothing on their own to learn how to make the $$$ they’d hoped to make.
When I started selling cars, I was broke, and nobody taught me anything to speak of, about how to sell more and earn more.
And I had zero knowledge of any kind of training I could take that would have helped me sell more and earn more.
If you’ve been reading this, you know how I changed and improved after I bumped into Zig Ziglar’s book, “See You At The Top”.
I learned more while I was thumbing through his book in the bookstore, than I’d learned in my first 5 years of selling cars.
Over the next 2 years, I read & listened to 100+ books, audios and videos, and was lucky enough to attend Zig’s workshops.
When I started selling cars again (my last time), I sold 90+ my first 3 months, and many were to repeat and referrals, not walk in traffic.
If you want to improve your skills and create your own long-term relationship with those buyers, 3 things have to happen…
- First, learn how to sell a car the right way. You don’t develop skills by just ‘scanning’ what we teach. You have to ‘master’ each skill.
- Your second goal is to create your own base of repeat and referral customers. You can’t build your repeat business, if you don’t learn how to sell and retain those customers who trusted you.
- You need a plan and process for continuous contact, with every sale you made or lost.
Learning more costs time and $.
People spend time & money for things they enjoy; a new phone, a toy, a big dinner, Starbucks a few times a week, a new TV, etc.
But like those salespeople we surveyed, when it comes to spending $ one time in their life to attend a class, excuses fly in every direction.
An education in sales may take a month to double your income forever.
When you’re tired of excuses and want to hit your goals, give us a call and we’ll help you get there!
