Small Paycheck Or Big Paycheck?

After 50+ years of selling and training, I know most salespeople don’t realize how lucky they are to work for a dealer who provides them with training on how to sell more, because 80% do not offer training.

Unfortunately, too many salespeople in our industry are taught less about selling than fast food workers are taught about grilling burgers, and most salespeople fail to even average 10 or 12 units a month.

In fast food, every day is a repeat of yesterday. Not much thought required.

But in sales, you have to engage in a strategic conversation with every prospect on the lot, on the phone or online to get both of you on the same page, headed to the same goal (ownership), with as few speed bumps along the way as possible.

Always keep learning more, because ‘luck’ is never there when you need it most…but skills save the day.
