What’s your worst day of the week? You know those days when…
Traffic is slow, the phone doesn’t ring, people don’t show up for appointments, they say they want to buy and we write ‘em up, but they don’t. It’s just terrible.
Let’s say you said Wednesday is the toughest day of the week.
On Monday and Tuesday, you’re trying to wrap up the last deals from the weekend. Thursday and Friday, you start picking up more traffic … Wednesday is in the middle, and it’s just always slow.
BUT how come the worst day of the week
turns into one of the best days of the week when it’s
the last day of the month?
Nothing changed for the buyers. There’s no real incentive or urgency for them to meet a monthly deadline on buying a car by the end of the month to help you out.
The difference is YOU!
The last day of the month, whether it’s Wednesday or any other day, is your last chance to put more money in your pocket, so you hustle harder.
On every last day, you call more people to come back in, try harder with every customer on the lot, and you usually pull something out of the hat to make it happen.
