If you haven’t heard this before, or experienced it many times…
There are 2 kinds of pain in life, Discipline or Regret.
The mind always tries to protect us, even if it lies. That’s why it helps us justify so many things we don’t do; like not learning more, not getting info from customers to make follow up calls to get them back in, or why it’s the market, weather, economy, low inventory, or not enough traffic, etc., to justify not selling more.
If you listen closely though, your mind is also reminding you that what you’re saying isn’t true.
None of us make perfect decisions every day. But when you know what you should do, then do the opposite because it’s easier to lie to ourselves and family, hang on, because the pain of regretting those choices is never far behind and always affects your family, too.
We all work to pay the rent, feed the family, get the kids stuff for school and so much more. And ‘everything you don’t do to improve’ costs you sales & adds extra pressure for everyone.
Maybe it’s time to dump the excuses and take advantage of the income potential selling cars offers. Not sure? Just ask the family.
