“Luis, you assisted my husband and me with a test drive we took this past Sunday.
We have decided against the Telluride. However, I wanted to share something with you.
When you sat up front and instructed me to sit in the backseat, what you did not realize was that I was the one who was there to spend the money.
The vehicle was for me, not my husband.
You were attentive to my husband during the test drive, and showed him all the features. You hardly interacted with me regarding the features of the vehicle.
Just a tip going forward; don’t assume the man is the one there to spend the money.
I was the one who was there to make the call on the vehicle, and you absolutely lost me with your sales technique.”
