You’ve got 2 ways to sell more – only 1 is permanent
- Work longer! Work bell to bell & days off, and sell 20-30% more for a couple of months. Then you’ll wear down, and sell less than you were before. A break even, at best.
Example: A 10 car salesperson works all the extra hours they can and sells 13 the 1st month, and 12 the 2nd month. The 3rd month, they sell 8.
Why? Because they picked a plan that totally relies on a limited supply of effort, instead of setting a goal and creating a plan to improve their skills and processes.
- Develop your skills. Read the testimonials we get. If someone else can do it, you certainly can, too.
There are dozens of skills & processes in sales. Too many salespeople think they have to master all of them to get better, so they don’t even try!
It isn’t ‘all or none’. Every skill and process you improve
will increase your sales & income.
There’s really no mystery to this; when you learn more about selling, like handling leads, closing, negotiation, follow up and prospecting – you end up selling more.
The more skills you develop, the more vehicles you’ll sell.
No salesperson is 100% perfect, including me. Even if you did know everything, you’d still need to keep learning more to remind yourself of the countless things you’d forgotten.
The more you learn today, the more you’ll earn tomorrow.
