Motorcycle Cross-Country Tour Raises Funds for Canine Companions
Joe Verde Sales and Management Training, Inc., announced that Greg Noonan of Insight Media stopped by the JVSMT offices in Orange County, CA, as part of his motorcycle tour to raise funds for National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation and the Wounded Veterans Initiative of Canine Companions for Independence, (CCI).
Together, Verde and Noonan donated $40,000 to CCI at the NADA Foundation’s ADESA auction in San Francisco last month. Noonan was the top bidder, at $20,000, on the 2012 Harley-Davidson Heritage at the auction. Joe Verde, President of Joe Verde Sales & Management Training, Inc. and auto sales trainer, matched Noonan’s $20,000 to bring the total donation to a record $40,000. To help bring further attention to the cause and raise additional funds, Noonan is riding the motorcycle on a two-week trip that began at Canine Companions’ headquarters in Santa Rosa, Calif., on Feb. 12. The trip includes stops at ADESA’s auction facilities in Sacramento, as well as stops in Los Angeles, Orange County, Phoenix, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Jacksonville and Tampa.
The Joe Verde Sales and Management Training offices were one of the first stops on Noonan’s 3,600 mile cross-country ride. Noonan is taking donations for each mile ridden and will make the final donation at his INSIGHT15 Customer Loyalty & Retention Conference in Florida, mid-March.
“This is such a wonderful project that Greg has undertaken and we should all reach out and support him 100%. The Wounded Veterans Initiative of Canine Companions for Independence is a cause very close to my heart. I have nothing but respect for CCI and the great work it does in training and providing canine companions. Please do all you can to support this worthy cause,” said Verde.
